A community, not a consultancy

Find your people before you find your gate.

TeenAbroad is where teens figuring out universities, scholarships, and countries actually talk to each other — not to a counselor's inbox. Trade real answers with people applying to the same places you are.

Four things everyone's mid-conversation about

What actually gets talked about here.

No generic advice threads. Every card below is a live category people post in daily — with the messy, specific questions that come with it.

01 · Universities

Programs & admissions

Compare programs, decode admissions offices, and swap essay drafts with people applying to the exact same schools as you.

THREADS1,204
02 · Scholarships

Funding & deadlines

Track deadlines together, hear which scholarships actually pay out, and split the workload of hunting for funding.

THREADS968
03 · Countries

Visas & day one

Ask people who already moved there. Visa paperwork, housing, culture shock — the parts no brochure mentions.

THREADS1,517
04 · Life abroad

What packing lists skip

Homesickness, host families, first-week nerves, making friends in a language you're still learning. All of it, honestly.

Quick answers.

Who is TeenAbroad actually for?
Teens who are curious, applying, or already committed to studying abroad — high school through the first year of university. You don't need a plan yet, just a real interest.
Is it free to join?
Yes, always. No paid tiers, no consultant upsells. This is a community, run by members, for members.
Is it moderated?
Yes. Every space is monitored by an active team, age-appropriate, and built so younger members can ask questions without judgment.
Do I need to already know where I'm going?
Not at all. Plenty of members join just to explore countries and programs before narrowing anything down.
